This version of vegetarian pizza is a most requested and favorite locally.

Ingredients
For the dough
- 3 cups all-purpose flour to make 1 large pizza 12”
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon yeast
- 3 tablespoon oil
For the sauce
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 tablespoon Italian season mix
- 2 X 8oz tomato puree
- 1 tablespoon crushed pepper
- 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- Salt to taste
Directions
For the dough
- Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl
- Next add the oil and mix well
- Gradually add warm water to make a soft dough ball
- Cover and leave for about 2 hours
- Once its risen, take out of the bowl and make a ball
- Flour your worktop and roll out to the size of your pizza pan
- Place it on the pizza pan
For the sauce
- In a pan add the oil and Italian season mix
- Mix for a few minutes to infuse the season mix
- Add the tomato puree and mix
- Add pepper, paprika and sugar
- Add salt taste
- Cook for 20 minutes until thick
- Once cooled spread the sauce on the pizza
- Sprinkle some grated cheese on the pizza
- Add the toppings of your choice
- Sprinkle some more cheese over the top
- Drizzle 1 tbsp olive oil over the pizza
- Put the pizza in a pre-heated oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes
