Cooking with Brad: Guacamole

Brad prepares one of his healthiest and favorite recipes: traditional Mexican guacamole. Guacamole is a heart-healthy dish with quality oils: Brad adds plenty of lime juice (which would make it last longer if it didn't taste so good!).

Ingredients
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 ½ tablespoon finely chopped cilantro or fresh coriander
- 1 small chopped fresh red tomato
- 1 small lime
- pinch of salt
- pinch of asafoetida or hing
Directions
- Scoop the flesh of the avocado in a bowl
- Add cilantro, tomato, squeeze lemon juice, add a pinch of salt and hing
- Mash thoroughly using two forks until thick even consistency
