How do you make ordinary potatoes special? Easily! Add some raisins, dried apricots and cashew nuts, give it a nice shape, serve with homemade tomato sauce.

Ingredients
- Mashed potatoes
- Salt
- Raisins
- Chopped dried apricots
- Chopped cashew nuts
- Oil
Directions
- Add salt to the mashed potatoes and mix it the mash well. Once mixed, make small balls from the mash potatoes.
- Tap the small ball of mash to a flat shape. Add pinch of raisins, dried apricots and cashew nuts in the middle of the mash and wrap it around nicely until its covered by the mash potatoes.
- In a hot frying pan, add some oil and start frying the tikkis (tip: tap the tikkis till its flat and round in the pan) for about 10mins - until golden brown colour in both sides. (tip: Cook in a low heat, continuous turn the tikkis in the pan and add some oil whenever needed).
- You can serve the tikkis with tomato sauce.
