Eggless French Toast Vegan

This is a simple recipe for an eggless vegan french toast. People have told me, it is as good as the one with eggs in it.

Ingredients
- French Baguette (homemade or bought)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ cup maple syrup (optional)
- 2 tablespoon corn starch
- 6 tablespoon chick pea flour (besan)
- 1 ½ cups soy milk or almond milk or normal milk
- ½ cup finely chopped pecan nuts
Directions
- Cut the baguette into 1 inch thick slices (cut about 12 slices).
- Pour the milk into a bowl, add the cinnamon, maple syrup, corn starch and chick pea flour.
- Blend together so there are no lumps.
- Heap up a frying pan and grease with butter.
- Dip a few slices of baguette into the batter and place into the frying pan.
- Cook for about five minutes, then turn over and fry.
- While the other side is frying, place some chopped pecan nuts on the fried side.
- Transfer onto a plate and serve with maple syrup.
