This easy apple cake is a must try. The taste of apples combined with cinnamon and the crunch of walnuts is divinely delicious.

Ingredients
Wet Ingredients
- ½ cup applesauce
- 1/3 cup soy yoghurt
- ½ cup oil
- 1 1/4 cup sugar
Dry Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg powder
Additional ingredients
- 2 ½ cups diced fresh apples
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Topping
- 3 teaspoon raw cane sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 F
- Mix all wet ingredients in a bowl and whisk until completely blended.
- Sift all the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix well. The batter consistency should be thick.
- Add diced fresh apples and chopped walnuts to the cake batter and mix well.
- Pour batter in the cake tin, evenly distribute it and sprinkle sugar cinnamon topping. Bake for 40 minutes or until done.
