Thai Salad Recipe

This refreshing and cool Thai salad is wonderful as a side dish or an entire meal. Bebe shows us how easy it is to make.

  Ingredients
- 1 Large diced red pepper
 - 1 Large diced tomato
 - 1 cup thickly striped cabbage
 - 1 finely diced green chilli (without the seeds)
 - 1½ cup chopped green beans
 - 1 cup freshly chopped cilantro/ parsley
 - 2 small limes
 - Chilli Paste (to taste)
 - Soy Sauce (to taste)
 - 1½ cup toasted peanuts
 - 227 grams Rice Noodles (cooked)
 - Ginger powder (to taste)
 - 1 teaspoon Honey
 - 1 teaspoon Mustard
 - Pinch of Hing
 
Directions
- In a bowl, add the green chilli, red pepper, tomato, cabbage, cilantro and rice noodles (tip: cut the noodles using a clean kitchen scissors into small strips for an easy mixture).
 - Mix the above ingredients gently and add some soy sauce and mix it again.
 - In a heated frying pan, add some oil, pinch of hing, green beans, honey, mustard and ginger powder. Mix the ingredients and let it cook for 2 mintues.
 - Add the cooked beans, toasted peanuts and 2 small lime juices to the salad. Mix the salad using a salad fork until all the ingredients are mixed well.
 - Lastly, add chilli paste (to taste) and soy sauce (to taste), stir the mixture and serve.
