Choco Cherry Cookies

Try these low fat, divinely delish, moist, chewy Chocolate Cherry Cookies for your Sunday picnic. Yum! They are vegan!

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup butter you can substitute it with vegan butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup yoghurt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dry ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 cups oats
- 1/2 cup chopped cherries
- 2/3 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit
- Add all dry ingredients (except oats) to the wet ingredients and mix well with a whisk or spoon.
- Fold the oats and mix well
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- Take ice cream scoop and scoop each cookie, flatten with a fork and top with cherries
- Bake for 15 to 20 mins
