Bread Rolls

For those who love sandwiches we suggest a new way of making them. Bread Rolls are a nourishing, easy to make, easy to take and tasty to eat kind of sandwiche.

Ingredients

  1. 4 slices one day old bread
  2. cooked mashed potatoes
  3. ½ teaspoon crushed fresh green chilies
  4. 1 teaspoon fresh chopped coriander
  5. salt to taste
  6. oil for deep frying
  7. water to soak the bread

Directions

  1. Put the mashed potato in a bowl, add salt, fresh chillies and coriander, mix well
  2. Soak a slice of bread in water for 1 minute. Squeeze it with two hands
  3. Add the potato filling and shape it into patty roll
  4. Repeat for the remaining slices and potato filling
  5. Heat oil and carefully drop the bread roll, one at a time, occasionally turning until golden brown and crispy
  6. Serve hot with tomato ketchup
